E9240 — Drain Issue – Filter, Pump, Hose, or Airgap Blockage

The dishwasher cannot drain properly due to a blocked filter, clogged drain pump, kinked hose, or clogged airgap.
Common causes
- Blocked dishwasher filter
- Blocked or loose drain pump cover
- Kinked or bent drain hose
- Clogged airgap or drain hose
How to fix it
- Remove and clean filter under running water with mild soap and soft brush
- Remove drain pump cover, clear standing water and debris, reinstall until it clicks
- Inspect drain hose for kinks or bends
- Check and clear airgap, disconnect and clear drain hose, run rinse cycle to test
- Contact Bosch Customer Support if still unresolved
