21E — Freezer Fan Error

Electronics detect no rotational feedback from the freezer fan when it should be spinning. Often caused by ice buildup around the fan.
Common causes
- Freezer fan frozen due to door left open
- Gap or failure in door gasket allowing warm air in
- Freezer fan motor failure
How to fix it
- Defrost the unit manually or allow it to defrost
- Check that refrigerator is not overpacked preventing door closure
- Inspect door gaskets for full contact seal around entire door
- Request service if issue persists after defrosting
