8E2 — Jammed Button Error or MEMS Sensor Error

On some models this indicates a jammed control panel button; on others it indicates a MEMS sensor fault. Check the user manual to confirm.
Common causes
- Button physically stuck or jammed
- MEMS sensor malfunction (model dependent)
How to fix it
- Check user manual to determine which error applies
- If jammed button: power off, work each button back and forth to free it
- If MEMS sensor: power cycle washer for 2–3 minutes; contact Samsung support if code persists
