E18 — Drainage Hose Blocked or Kinked

The drainage hose is blocked or kinked, preventing the washer from draining. Clear the hose and clean the drain pump.
Common causes
- Kinked or improperly installed drainage hose
- Blocked pump or siphon spigot
How to fix it
- Set program to OFF and unplug the appliance
- Check drainage hose for kinks and straighten
- Remove drainage hose from siphon, drain residual water, and clean hose and spigot
- Select DRAIN program to flush
- Clean the pump by opening the service flap, draining water via the drainage hose, and clearing pump interior
- Ensure impeller wheel turns freely, replace pump cover firmly, and check for leaks
