E3020 — Excess Water Level – Multiple Possible Causes

Too much water is in the drum, caused by excess detergent, added water, or a faulty solenoid valve.
Common causes
- Detergent dosage too high causing oversudsing
- Extra water manually added during operation
- Defective solenoid valve
How to fix it
- Mix one tablespoon of fabric softener with ~2 cups of water and pour into compartment II (skip for outdoor/down items)
- Reduce detergent in future cycles
- Do not add extra water while the appliance is operating
- Contact Bosch Customer Support at 1-800-944-2904 if solenoid valve is suspected defective
