DE — Door Not Closed Error

The dryer door is not fully closed or is misaligned, preventing the dryer from operating.
Common causes
- Door not completely shut
- Lint filter not fully inserted blocking door
- Clothing caught in door
- Door bent or misaligned
How to fix it
- Open door, ensure lint filter is fully inserted and no clothing is caught, close firmly
- If unit is new and door is bent/damaged, contact the dealer
- Reset by unplugging, waiting 5 seconds, restoring power, closing door, and starting a cycle
- If code returns, request service
