CL — Control Lock / Child Lock Active

Indicates the control panel is locked, preventing any buttons or cycle selections from being used.
Common causes
- Control Lock or Child Lock feature has been activated intentionally or accidentally
- Feature remains active even after power off and back on
How to fix it
- Long-press the Control Lock button(s) for 3 seconds to deactivate
- Alternatively, long-press both the Half Load and Energy Saver buttons simultaneously for at least 3 seconds
- Note that the lock persists across power cycles; deactivate before use
