IF — Lint Filter Detection Error

The dryer cannot detect the lint filter, often because the filter is missing or its magnet is lost or misplaced.
Common causes
- Lint filter not correctly assembled or seated
- Magnet missing from interior filter
- Magnet holder damaged
How to fix it
- Check both exterior and interior filter parts are assembled and inserted correctly
- Verify the magnet in the interior filter is in place
- Replace lint filter if magnet is lost or holder is damaged
- If error persists, request service
