E30 — Door Closed But Not Locked

The washer door is closed but the lock mechanism did not engage. May indicate an overloaded drum, obstruction in the door area, or a damaged latch.
Common causes
- Washer overloaded preventing door from sealing
- Item caught between door and rubber gasket
- Door latch bent or broken
How to fix it
- Check door area and remove anything preventing it from closing securely
- Open and re-close the door firmly
- Reset washer: power off, unplug (or trip breaker), hold START/PAUSE 5 seconds, restore power and retry
- If error persists, door latch may need replacement
